Our Coaches

COACH DEAN
After decades of swimming, I recently became a certified masters swim coach and have been really enjoying helping folks improve their stroke and efficiency. I love competing in open water swim races—my longest and favorite one being the Portland Bridge Swim.

COACH JANA
I’ve been coaching or teaching swimming since I was 14 years old and don’t want to ever give it up. Helping people love the sport fuels me, I couldn’t be happier to be a party of the excellent crew at Sonoma Splash. Every day I step on that pool deck I’m in awe and can’t stop smiling. If you haven’t tried it you are truly missing out, it’s the best thing that’s happened to Sonoma in years!

COACH Allison
I discovered my love of swimming as a freshman in high school, have been involved in Masters swimming and coaching since college, and was recently certified as a U.S. Masters Swimming Level 1 coach. As my daughter would say, the pool is my “happy place,” and I am so glad to be able to share the love of the water and of the sport with the great and growing team we have here in Sonoma Valley!
